PCI Scanning - Need it or Not?

PCI Scanning stands for Payment Card Industry Scanning and my be required if you have a significant number of transactions per year (over 20,000).

PCI scanning is done to check vulnerabilities on your server, primarily to steal sensitive information.
Most third party companies that take credit card information already offer PCI scanning. Some popular companies that offer PCI Scanning are Google Checkout, Yahoo Stores, or Authorize Net.

PCI scanning is not recommended unless you are required to have it.

Does it really matter Which Trust Seal I use?

Trust Guard Multi Seal Package
Increase your conversion rate with
Trust Guard Multi-Seals
$397.00 Yearly or $37.00 Monthly

Simply Answered YES and YES!

Yes it does matter who’s Trust Seal you use since you will be the one paying for it.

Trust Seals can range anywhere from $300 a year to more then $300 a month, yet produce the same
results.

Each Trust Seal provider verifies different aspects of your website. Companies like Hackersafe and Control Scan do PCI scanning while companies like BBB focus on your business.

It is important to choose the company that is best for your website.

In nearly all cases I recommend the Trust Guard Multiseal Package. At $37.00 a month for security, business, and privacy seals, it just can’t be beat.

Here are three things Trust Seals offer which are of great worth to your website:

1.Third Party Verification of your Website Security
2.Third Party Verification of your Business
3.Third Party Verification of your Websites Privacy

1. Security Verification – This is huge!!! According to a study done by IBM in 2006 “70 percent of online shoppers will buy from a trusted Web site” IBM Press Room. People don’t want their information stolen over the internet.

2. Business Verification – This goes right along with security. There are thousands of sites scamming people. Having your business verified tells the customer this won’t happen because you have a real business address and your not going anywhere.

3. Privacy Verification – Don’t you just love getting solicited emails and telephone calls? You sure don’t! Neither does your customer. Displaying a privacy verification seal tells your customer that your not going to sell or give their information away to untrusted third parties without their consent.

You could be losing a lot of business if you don’t have trust seals displayed on your website.

Your Website + Trust Seals = Added Trust
Added Trust = MORE SALES

Trust seals will increase trust in your business almost instantly and thus increase your profits.

Adding a trust seal is one of the single most easy, effective, and important things you can do for your business as this will almost instantly sky rocket the trust new visitors have when seeing your site.
If you don’t have trust seals on your website then what are you waiting for?
Go Go Go! Add the seals and watch your conversion rate go up uP UP!!!
